Calculating Grades

This was presentation was delivered in a hybrid mode with learners both in-person and via Zoom.
This training was a part of the Academic Seminar for students at a residential arts high school. The impetus for this training was that students often don't understand the impact of weighting on their grade. The goal of the training was to have students understand how course grades are calculated and how high school and college GPAs are calculated.

The presentation consisted of several scenarios presented through PowerPoint. All learners were provided with a worksheet so that they could follow along with the concepts and calculations. Students were also provided with an online application that they could use to calculate grades based on the syllabi for their specific courses.
